Whats your ‘divine play’ today?

This morning I learned a new word, Lila (or Leela) and it made me smile. In Sanskrit, Leela is loosely translated to mean “divine play” but there really is no English equivalent. Lila is a way of describing reality, its the cosmic dance of creation that is happening in all moments.  Asking “what is the divine Leela for today” brings you into awareness of that creation. It marks your morning as a mystical adventure; something I was talking about with my good friend yesterday over coffee and why I was thrilled when I read the word this morning!

The energy of the Universe is something that ‘does us’ in every moment, we don’t even need to try. It creates with us, whether we are conscious or not. And even as I bob in the ocean of that energy, that process of creation can be an exciting experience.

So, what’s your Lila today? How will you allow the awareness of ‘Divine Play’ to be present? Can you find the element of playful creativeness, even if that play looks like an experience of anger? fear? resentment? Can you find the humor?

In all moments, the Divine is having an experience through you, you are merely the instrument. Be still and listen, there a teachings everywhere.

Me? I'm one of the many bridges between two worlds. Blogging is a creative outlet for this energy to express itself. I believe nothing happens without vibration alignment, that we are continually creating as we go. Everything on these pages stems from my deep knowing that as we share honestly we transform the collective for the better.
