The Wind, My Art Process in Motion

“Relax,” she whispered. “I’m The Wind, and I’m softening you like my breath on sandstone.”

So, today I will relax into Her, I will listen to The Wind and see what happens to Her and this canvas next. I find it hard to share openly such an unfinished process, such a raw beginning, but that is precisely why I am doing it. There are so many layers, so many things to pick apart in this life. An unfinished painting is full of flaws, the real talent is to let them just be as they are in this moment, full of allowing. We are all unfinished works of art, moving colours, never static. I would never have guessed how this one painting would have turned out.

Painting without a plan, following the prompting from the painting itself is a layer of energy work that is interesting to play with. An active metaphor for following the flow of energy within this life. From the first picture of Her, to this latest incarnation The Wind keeps changing direction but maintains a constant flow…as do I.

Here is where she ended up on April 15, 2015, softer and more sure of herself, she continues to whisper, “Trust me”.Trust the Wind by Crystal Bonnici 2015

About Goddess in the Belly

Me? I'm one of the many bridges between two worlds. Blogging is a creative outlet for this energy to express itself. I believe nothing happens without vibration alignment, that we are continually creating as we go. Everything on these pages stems from my deep knowing that as we share honestly we transform the collective for the better.
