BURN SISTER. BURN.

I’m posting this because it made me say wow. Not on behalf of all men, but on the behalf of the one man who wrote it. I’m in awe of his personal voice, his passion and conviction. The last time something like this came across my desk it was the Dear Women video. I can see why these things would piss some people off, I can see that just like the Dear Woman the below piece of writing could be taken in the opposite energy of its intention. But before that, can we just pause for a moment. Can we be gentle on the men who are trying so hard to see women clearly? Can we maybe view this as baby steps forward? That men really aren’t as collectively unconscious as the Internet Trolls would have us all think.

How can you know you are entitled if you are never given the opportunity to see it that way? As a white woman in middle class Canada, I know that I am privileged, and see the world through a particular set of glasses. I can’t change they way I was born. The awareness of my privileged state never occurred to me without it being pointed out in the first place. Does that make me a horrible person? Do I have any less right to be here? No. Are men horrible collectively if they don’t know they too are privileged?

All perception is colored by circumstances that we live. And my choices are what define me as an individual. There is an undercurrent, a wave of modern Feminism that is sweeping the globe, and it has to do with HER. The Divine Feminine component we are all lacking knowledge of is all around us. SHE wont be silenced .

If you can get past one man, or a small few, apologizing for the collective many (which I can) then I think its beautiful. Is it enough? No. Can it erase thousands of years of being an ‘object’ to protect, horde, or own? No. Is it necessary to hear the apology anyways? I don’t know. I do know that SHE doesn’t need it. And a small handful of men apologizing for the collective is as limited as a handful of German people apologizing for Hitler and his chain of command. It’s as ineffective as white people apologizing to just about everyone for … everything.

So, if this makes you feel anything at all (anger or agreement) I challenge you to breathe through it. Don’t be so quick to side on one pole. It’s not really about the confession or the apology, but something deeper. I once heard that in Hawaii they ask “Will you forgive me?” instead of  say “I’m sorry”. It puts the energy in the hands of the harmed party and makes them an active participant in the process of healing wounds.  I don’t know if its true, but I like it. And I know what I choose as a woman.

So, just breathe and see what happens …

BURN SISTER. BURN.

By Dave Stone

I would like to apologize on behalf of men. We are jerks – we don’t know our inner truth and when a woman appears who mirrors it back to us, it terrifies the living daylights out of us.

You see we’ve never known anything other than use and abuse. This is our culture and conditioning. Until life smashes this out of us with fierce love, we can never really know Her, trust Her, love Her, see Her who seeks to know us so deeply and show us who She is. We’ve been looking in all the wrong places.

Scantily clad models on catwalks and airbrushed magazines selling shit, porn, Stepford wives, we’ve been sold a crock of shit about you and only now are we waking up long after you have already started. So know that the man you give yourself away to, who has not been reborn through Her, will use and abuse you until he learns Her ways.

I am so sorry for the pain we cause you. For the anguish we leave behind in our incongruence. Words which don’t match actions. It’s like mind fuck 101. There’s no excuse. Rage sister. You’ve been duped. It’s time to wake up to your wild nature, your storms of destructive passion and blow through all the ignorance which torments us men. See the extent of this lie men are living and reflect this to us.

Namaste. Know that you are beautiful without my love – you have Her Love – She who flows through you, loves you. Let her show you your healing path. It is time for this old part of you sister to die, she who has been subjugated to His abuse. His time is over – our patriarchy is crumbling and a new order is forming. It is time for a new you to flower. You are ready. Let this anger fuel your rebirth. Let this anger radiate your truth, your passion, your yearning for his true nature to emerge. Accept nothing less.

This is why you burn with rage. Because you know. You know what is what. What is true and untrue.
Burn sister. Burn.

About Goddess in the Belly

Me? I'm one of the many bridges between two worlds. Blogging is a creative outlet for this energy to express itself. I believe nothing happens without vibration alignment, that we are continually creating as we go. Everything on these pages stems from my deep knowing that as we share honestly we transform the collective for the better.
