Clever and Wise

a ripple

Yesterday I was clever, so I wanted to change the world.
Today I am wise, so I am changing myself.

I love this quote, in full on confession mode I often think I’m so clever that I need to check myself for an inflated ego. I love the idea that chance begins with the Self, it makes me look inward instead of pointing fingers or creating a purpose for the little self by ‘doing something’. Often the ‘doing’ is serving my ego in an unbalanced way.

Must we be only one thing? Wouldn’t it be better to embrace all parts without segregating them into yesterday, today and tomorrow?

About Goddess in the Belly

Me? I'm one of the many bridges between two worlds. Blogging is a creative outlet for this energy to express itself. I believe nothing happens without vibration alignment, that we are continually creating as we go. Everything on these pages stems from my deep knowing that as we share honestly we transform the collective for the better.
