Maybe Upside Down is Good

Obviously our most notable growth comes from movement, not in stagnation. By its very definition, stagnation is a state of having stopped, ceasing to flow. Yet, movement often comes in the form of agitation, shakes us from our resting state and churns our life waters around.

So often in my life it seems to be the case that I rail against upheaval, resisting the change offered because it doesn’t look just as I want it too. As I look at the people in my life, so many obstacles seem to be appearing in their way. Health scares, relationships conflicts, family issues, confidence issues, monetary worries … the list seems endless… I am reminded of a quote by Rumi, “Don’t worry that your life is turning upside down. How do you know that the side you are used to is better than the one to come?”

Maybe upside down is a good thing? The Universe is demanding that you indeed grow.
